The Hummingbirds was founded in 1999 by Mary Haas who ran the daycare alongside assistant Adela MacMillan for 8 years. In 2007, Adela and her husband Brian fulfilled a lifelong dream and purchased the business when Mary announced her retirement.

The Hummingbirds provides a nurturing environment, emphasizing learning through play. Our comfortable home setting provides children with a secure place to enjoy some of their first group play and learning experiences.
